The 2016 Chardonnay is bursting with rich aromas of honeysuckle, ripe melon and hints of butterscotch. A silky entry on the palate is followed by powerful fruit flavors of Bosc pear, baked apple and dried apricot. The touch of French oak adds sublte hints of toasted almond, vanilla and spice. Barrel fermentation and surlies aging results in a wine that is round and elegant and finishes with a creamy texture.
